Is this why I get a never ending loop of captcha prompts? I complete them, they keep coming, never proceeds to the article. I just switched to CloudFlare's DNS records about two weeks ago. I guess I'll flip back and try again!

No. The archive.is folks intentionally poison dns results for certain resolvers. They have a vendetta against cloudflare for not giving location data to them for dns lookups.

I don't think there's hate. it's that serving Cloudflare users threatens the existence of archive.is, due to copyright laws in each jurisdiction
