Hi Rich,

My experience is in Mechatronics and I am bridging into programming from the mechanical engineering side of things. I am wondering if you have any experience with those roles at Northrop? In a sense I have found bigger companies mostly have dedicated hardware teams and dedicated software teams and it has been more difficult to find roles where I can do both at the larger defense companies. Is Northrop somewhere I could go to have an experience like this? I am a Recent Grad, So Cal, Master's degree and US citizen.

Sounds like you might be a good fit if that's what you'd like to do! I'm pure SWE but work with many EEs and MEs (even one Chemical Engineer) who moved into software. Regardless, we work closely with the hardware folks so there's a lot of opportunities for your engineering skills at Northrop. Let me know if you'd like some help trying to narrow down a few open positions!
