I believe they meant they keyboards built into the laptops, not separate accessories you plug into the laptop.

Most laptop keyboard are tenkeyless so that wouldn't make sense. They also listed two discrete/separate keyboards as examples so that further enforces that they were not talking about laptops.

Unless you have a 15" one, last few I got from my employer had numpad :(

Most 13 and 14 inch laptops don't have the numpad. But it's difficult to find a 15+ inch laptop without the numpad for under $1k.
