I mean unlimited presidential terms without having anything like elections to get in the way.

Is there any mechanism already where a war or active civil unrest causes a delay in elections in America? I've read that America has no such provision in our election laws to delay/cancel an election like that.

An extant mechanism. You asked if there's a mechanism. Do you think they need one?

What? I just said no. Let me put it more plainly: I do not think there should be a mechanism for the federal government to cancel or delay elections due to war or civil unrest.

Why are you ignoring my question, asking another one, then ignoring my answer and asking it again?
