Seriously. Drives me up the wall. Once I've written a word and seen it, I've confirmed that's the word I want. If it wasn't, I would have changed it then. I don't
ever want it to "correct" a previous word based on a new one.
Ever. Yet still, more than a decade later, there's no way to turn this off.
And it takes so long to keep backspacing to delete it, or move the cursor to make a surgical edit. The WORST.
