Verition is a ~$13b global hedgefund and I am hiring a software engineer to build greenfield genAI unstructured data and NLP pipelines.
You will: - Prototype SOTA papers and methods focused on hybrid search embeddings pipelines of unstructured data - Own infrastructure, focus on drift metrics, eval harnesses and experiments. Zero legacy code. - Collaborate daily with a portfolio manager who codes in python and spent the past two years running a software startup focused on unstructured transcription pipelines
You are - Curious, eval and experiment oriented, and like to ship. Finance knowledge is NOT required. - 2-5 year SWE or fresh PhD who has shipped real systems and code in production - Fluent in python and the typical LLM API tooling frameworks. AWS experience a plus.
You will be embedded in the team with potential to be directly tied to P&L generation.
