Please consider working with Archive Team and/or the Internet Archive to preserve the content of the site.

you don't need archiveteam to save databases you already have. just dump the PII columns and put 'em up for torrent.

I’m not a lawyer but I wouldn’t recommend posting a dump of the PII columns lol

I'd argue that despite technically being higher fidelity, the SQL dump is less useful than the archive team style http request dump, because the latter fits into the Wayback Machine while the former would require extra steps to meaningfully access the data.

(Unless of course someone is resurrecting the site)

Usually ArchiveTeam will do both where we can. For example we do wikis that are shutting down with both ArchiveBot (recursively download the site, saving in WARC format and uploading to web.archive.org) and Wikibot (download MediaWiki/DokuWiki source text exports in a way that can be restored later, upload to archive.org).

FTR, the admin is now talking to ArchiveTeam and is willing to help reduce barriers to archiving the site to IA. For eg removing rate limits, allow-listing AT user-agents etc.
