I assume if there is a jury trial then actually the fact that Musk has his own for-profit AI company now could play a huge part. Even if for some reason they tell the jury to "disregard that fact" or something.
I feel like we now have a reasonable expectation that his AI effort becomes open source. Not that I actually expect it, but seems reasonable in this context.
