Currently technical lead for control systems of a flagship product at a quantum focused company. I work regularly with PhD physicists, electrical engineers, and lead a small team of software engineers to design, develop, and test both realtime and non-realtime control systems in a mix of constrained and unconstrained execution environments. I prefer to stay closer to the hardware, but above a kernel, and ideally on a network. Mostly work with Rust and Python these days, with Scheme on the side, but I can learn any toolchain quickly. I can even hack stuff together in the browser, but it won't be pretty. I have deep experience with scientific and distributed computing and networking.
