Actually, the vast majority of them aren't aligned with any particular ideology, which you can see from the fact that they liberally donate to representatives from both political parties. The only belief that all of them have in common is elitism, as long as the definition of "elite" includes themselves of course.

Plenty of rich people oil both sides of the machine. That doesn’t remotely mean that they don’t subscribe to a political ideology.

Agreed. I meant "conservative" in the small-c sense of keeping things the same (where "the same" = benefits me.)

Both us political parties are conservative to be fair. And both aren't strict conservatives either (strict conservative in the US would be Amish I think?).
