I am sick to death of this sort of OpenAI “news”. It only seeks to elicit the same angry rants from the same angry nerds that are having a hard time letting go of the direction that OpenAI has quite clearly gone in. The continued obsession with “open” in their name has well and truly entered the category of “talking-for-clapping political-rally-style dunk”. If you haven’t moved on by this point please look inwards and ask yourself if you’re just looking for things to dwell on to make yourself unhappy.

However, I am a curious observer of the technology industry and I read the article above to understand how this company is behaving in this new spring of its life.
