The only thing the psychopathic C-suite gives a shit about is making the largest sum of money possible. They don't care if customers hate chatbots or if they fire hundreds of people simultaneously, they're infinitely cheaper than paying for a human, so as long as the percentage of people complaining about the chatbots is below a certain percentage, you bet your ass they'll just keep on replacing people with these chatbots, regardless of how actually useful they are
