Why can’t some use money from profit to do nonprofit again when others caught up. Only moat seems to be the research time invested.

The split between e/acc (gotta go fast) and friendly AI/Coherent Extrapolated Volition (slow and cautious) is the first time in my life I've come down on the (small-c) conservative side of a split. I don't know if that's because I'm just getting older and more risk adverse.
