Thse articles repeatedly mention the Hummer EV, which is an absolutely ludicrous monster truck of an off roader. Not the Teslas, Mach-Es and Kias/Hyundais sold in volume.

It's not completely made up like some people think - there's 2 creatures called "daddy longlegs", one of which is venomous and has short fangs (but not the one usually thought of when that phrase is brought up), but lethality is unknown because there's no recorded cases and you'd have to intentionally try to kill someone with it to test it.
