I’m Platform Engineer with 8 years of total experience, worked both as a developer earlier in my career and later transitioned into site reliability engineer / platform engineer roles. This gives me unique perspective into managing systems at scale, by not just maintaining the infrastructure but also being able to dig into the code, understand what is going on and propose end to end solutions to the problem. Experienced in gradually converting existing infrastructure into full infrastructure as a code solutions which happens to be really helpful when an organization wants to undergo compliance certifications. Helping teams with untangling the cloud mess and making sense of existing infrastructure (most often also providing cost cuts due to better utilization of resources or better suited solutions).
