I’m 40 and I’m pretty happy that I’ve never been married. I look around among my married friends and don’t envy anyone’s life. Which doesn’t mean they’d be better off not being married. I have no idea. It’s just that the alternative doesn’t have to be a bad thing at all. On the contrary.
But I guess one has to be the type for it. If one’s idea of a good life is marriage, then not getting to that point is obviously a problem which will create emotional struggle and subsequent issues.
