Parent comment mentioned two great disrros, Fedora and Debian to which I like to add Arch. They certainly are not unfinished toys.

Arch is great until the grub developers push a release without testing and it breaks your whole system (speaking from experience).

If NixOS didn't exist, I'd use Fedora as the RPM repositories aren't hot garbage like the AUR.
