No, that line is specifically about Julius Caesar being appointed by the Senate as dictator and then never giving up his power.

Though I agree it seems to fit here. Being granted an oligopoly in the name of protecting the people and all that.

I’ve seen the movie, and it’s in response to Rachel saying “the last dictator they appointed was named Caesar, and he never gave up his power.”

I also didn’t downvote you, and it’s against guidelines to bring that stuff up
