I don't know if this will help at all (probably not), but it's mostly about trying to avoid repetitive arguments. Things get less interesting as they repeat.

I know it is hard being a forum BDFL and it's expected that we will not always agree. Seeing a lot of unsubstantiated medical advice during the pandemic was just very hard for me, especially when hearing it from a "smart" place like HN. For better or worse HN tows the line on US-style free speech of letting bad but eloquent actors promulgate their ideas for fear of censoring the next Galileo.
