My first card was a Voodoo 1 - for the Mac. The difference it made to Quake was dramatic.

When the Voodoo 2 came out, I couldn’t find a vendor selling them for the Mac. I’m not even sure anyone did.

I bought a Voodoo 2 card that worked with a patched version of Mesa but it was slow.

I managed to find a driver on some peer sharing thing (Hotline??). I’ve no idea of its origin but it worked fine.
