I am not dunking on him, I'm asking why he has such a good reputation that it got him a CEO position of OpenAI. I contrast him with Drew Houston, who I think is absolutely
brilliant, someone who was known as being an amazing hacker with an amazing business sense, and now runs a fantastic, large, profitable company.
Or take the Collison brothers, people talk about them as being out of this world smart as well. They have some great talks about their experience building Stripe and their skills at scaling a business are apparent.
I just haven't seen that or heard about Sam's reputation from anyone but PaulG.
