I feel for artists who feel like they’re losing their livelihood. Art has always been a tough profession, and this doesn’t help because late-stage capitalism all but guarantees that a lot of potential customers will just skip the human-made article in favor of the “good-enough” mechanical production.

That said, automation is coming for all of us. The problem is not “we Need to stop these AIs/robots from replacing humans.” It’s “We need to figure out the rules for taking care of the humans when their work is automated”
