My takeaway from this was that you can't have too many things you're judging a candidate on. If you over emphasise one trait you're going to screw yourself over in finding another. I was also happy to see that ignoring things that many companies over-value is a good strategy if you think you know what's over valued.
My own 3 hiring criteria are still not talked about much and were very effective last I used them. Now I understand why a little better.
