Hi HN, I'm the founder of PopSQL, a collaborative SQL editor for teams. We initially launched on HN in 2017 when PopSQL was a side project. Now it's a full blown business with hundreds of paying companies, growing month over month revenue, a team of 5, and funding from Gradient (Google's AI fund), FundersClub, and Y Combinator. We have a ton of things to build in order to fulfill our vision of helping teams collaborate using data.
We're looking for a founding engineer that will have a huge impact on the product and features we build. You'll get to define our technical architecture, processes, and culture. You'll own engineering end to end and get to build a team. You'll get to work with customers directly to figure out what to build. The ideal candidate has an eye for design and wants to build a delightful product.
Frontend: React, JavaScript, some TypeScript, Apollo GraphQL, Storybook, next.js, Tailwind
Backend: Ruby, Rails, GraphQL, Postgres, Terraform, Docker, AWS
