While this case is bad enough, mistakes like this are not the biggest concern. Mistakenly arrested people are (hopefully) eventually released, even though they have to go through quite a bit of trouble.

The consequence that is much worse would be mass incarceration of certain groups, because the AI is too good at catching people who actually did something.

This second wave of mass incarceration will lead to even more single parent families and poor households, and will reinforce the current situation.
