Imagine a virtual protest over zoom where people loot copyrighted media by sharing it with fellow protesters... kind of like a civil disobedience Napster / scihub thing. Bill Gates, and the RIAA and MPAA and the publishers would historically be horrified, but given the transient, justifiable protest, their political message would be accepting. the DEA and NSA would want in again, not because they care to stop retail piracy (free advertising), but corporate espionage and tax evasion by people who have a lot of money.
