Hawking Radiation. I know just enough to know that the story of "anti-particle of virtual pairs happens to always fall in the hole" is a Lie Told To Children, but the explanations seem to go straight from there to rather dense math and I've never wrapped my head around it.

That's not even a lies-to-children explanation--it's just straight-up wrong, a result of generations of "science journalists" misunderstanding stuff and spreading their misunderstandings around.

Hawking radiation does not discriminate between matter and anti-matter. Either form of any type of particle can be emitted.

Actually... yes, which just makes it worse that something about that presenter's style really rubs me the wrong way. Do they have their content in text format somewhere? Anyway, thanks!
