Yeah most of those services aren't as popular as Netflix so they have to compete for eyeballs.
Also for Apple/Amazon TV is a minor side business.
The show you listed for HBO are largely HBO shows developed for HBO some arguably back when watching HBO under a cable subscription was the norm. Breaking Bad was made for tv first.
