Hahah funny, bet made you head to the website and ask some tongue in cheek questions about Chevy Tahoe. Maybe even think about buying one. Seems perfect for GM?

I feel like this could be more of a "see also" than a dupe only because it actually has GM's response, which I thought was interesting:

> Following the publication of this article, GM reached out to us, pointing out that the use of AI chatbots referenced here is an example of a third-party tool adopted independently by some of the automaker’s dealership partners. Dealers choose the tools that work best for their customers in their markets, and specific questions about how they’ve chosen to implement these would need to be shared directly with said dealerships.

Good point, and that would be worth adding as a comment to the other thread, perhaps along with the URL (https://gmauthority.com/blog/2023/12/gm-dealer-chat-bot-agre...).

Generally the original thread is the best place for follow-up links related to the same story; if we get another whole thread, the discussion generally won't be that different from the other thread and then we end up with a split discussion.

It also happens that a different URL is just significantly better than the one the ongoing thread was posted with; but in that case the most helpful thing is to let us know at hn@ycombinator.com and we can swap the URL on the existing thread.
