Well, if the transcript contains stuff like:

The transcript with timestamps does not make for easy reading either.

Ideally, there'd be a simple text only version if the intention is for people to read as opposed to be an index for the video.

Would be interesting to see reading engagement with that change.

But the video is 43 minutes that I don't have today and probably never. I skimmed through the transcript and I didn't find the point (which dead programs?) So I better find the time to watch the video or read the transcript or do something else, like I do for most content available as video. I prefer short to-the-point blog posts.
