The box of pandora has been opened now. There’s no going back. In a few decades writing long texts all by yourself is going be an artisan thing that only a few people will engage in. You will put together your arguments, and an llm will elaborate it. Will humanity become more dumb? Did we get dumber because we don’t do calculus by hand now?

I don't know but I realize that very few people I encounter are comfortable calculating stuff like splitting a bill in a bar/restaurant without help.

I still like doing it, thinking it may possibly aid my brain age better.
