It's 1.5x3 if you have a 21:9 screen. It's so bad.

Yeah, the Steam HW survey shows that 16:9 resolutions form a majority (60%+) of their users with 1080p + 4K, so it makes sense as a default design choice for a company that only wants to target one ratio.

As a former user of 16:10, I feel your pain, though.
