We have companies like Google and Microsoft who have the ability to build or create power generation for things like this. I just think it's interesting that Microsoft could be energy self sufficient by building generation next to a datacenter.

Amazon is a huge investor in green energy, both solar and wind. Google also buys solar. Colocated energy is great in theory, but doesn't always scale. That is why most companies take an offset approach.
