I've once read an article in Harvard Business Review about how this company works, it's also awful.
It's like they are all "self employed" and can associate with other employees to form a mini company inside Haier. They are all competing against each other, the fluctuation between the teams is very high and of course if their mini companie is successful, the company takes the profits and credits for it, if you don't make your money worth you get canned quite quickly
