At least Vulkan is a first-class citizen on Linux, so the aforementioned issues are even less headache-filled.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has a Vulkan renderer. Doom and the new Wolfenstein games, too.

Also the Nintendo Switch supports Vulkan.
