Happened to me too, even though I thought all ads were disabled in my modified libre/wolf profile.

I guess I have to go back to ungoogled chromium as my main browser again and start working again on RetroKit.

You can unmozila firefox just like your chromium too. When I open a new tab I see a blank page, no pocket, no suggested whatever, no bullshit. I'd take firefox just to be able to use full on ublock origin (1).
