It's considered bad form to make meta comments but since this entire post is a meta comment, I will say it is upsetting to take a post which is supposed to celebrate a good faith and hard working moderator and turn it into a complaint about the orange site.
HN has its annoying bros but it has many bright spots (generally tech posts are almost always enlightening). Hating it sometimes is understandable, but there is a time and place for that and it certainly isn't in this thread of all places!
