SerpApi is the leading API to scrape and parse search engine results. We deeply support Google, Google Maps, Google Images, Bing, Baidu, and a lot more.
Our current stack is Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, and React.JS. We are looking for a senior web designer, a senior Front End Engineer, and a Senior Backend Engineer. For the senior web designer position, we're looking for someone to give us a strong visual direction and experience in CSS, JS, or React are definitely plusses but not required.
We have an awesome work environment: We are a remote first company. We do continuous integration, continuous deployments, code reviews, code pairings, profit sharing, and most of communication is async via GitHub.
We value super strongly transparency, do open books, have a public roadmap, and contribute to the EFF.

I don't think these guys are actually hiring, or they are very bad at it. I went through their hiring process, the video interview went well even though it was with one Dev (pretty random). There was common interest and a technical fit. I was given a trivial code test that I assumed was only a formality. I then created a pull request. I had to follow-up for weeks before hearing back from them and the only thing that they ended up doing was to give my pull request some thumbs up. They since disappeared even though I reached out for feedback multiple times.
I suspect that they are doing this non stop even though they don't have open positions and maybe from time to time they hire based on their workload. Look at all the pull requests (https://github.com/serpapi/code-challenge/pulls). Lots of those are good quality, but they have been on "Ask HN: Who is hiring?" for months.
