Our first product is Truth Social, a social media application which launched on 20 February 2022 to become #1 in the Apple App Store. We are expanding to other platforms (Web launched, Android native coming soon) and adding functionality, plus working on follow-on products (SVOD, Infrastructure). Our product is currently available in the US, Canada, the UK, and a few others, and is expanding throughout the world over the upcoming months.
We're looking for a variety of roles in engineering for these products. Our current team is small and technically excellent, making extensive use of open source software and operating our own infrastructure to remain independent of third party control. We are particularly interested in hiring people from the established social media giants and large SAAS applications who were directly involved in creating software and infrastructure for scaling to hundreds of millions of users and beyond, and who want to do it again in an environment which values freedom of speech and expression.
One system we're particularly proud of is an internally-developed ML moderation system which flags policies in violation of ToS and assists human moderators in keeping the site in compliance with our terms of service while respecting free speech. We are working on open sourcing elements of these tools.
We recently deployed direct messaging for users and are working on security and privacy improvements, as well as other expansions of the core Truth Social product. Some of these tools will be released as open source.
