If Apple becomes an ad company, I'll have to seriously reconsider my commitment to Apple.

The only reason I moved away from Android was Google. I had no real complaints from the phones or Android user-experience itself.

People make all these dramatic commitments but they never go through with it, or they leave out the true caveats that would weaken the statement.

Based on what little privacy research we have, between Apple and Google, neither is privacy-friendly, but at least Apple is more so than Google.

That is to say, I don’t see why one would move when the alternative is worse.
