String and Key | Infrastructure/Deployment Engineer (DevOps) | Brooklyn, NY or Chapel Hill, NC | ONSITE, VISA | Full-time | https://www.stringandkey.com

We used to be a successful digital agency specializing in creating fintech products for our partners, and now, we've taken our award-winning team and are building something for a new company company of our own, solving the challenges that excite us most and creating a product we want to bring to market ourselves. Our team of roughly 40 (and growing) is building a product for financial protection, putting a new spin on traditional insurance.

We're seeking an experienced Infrastructure/Deployment Engineer to join our team in either our Dumbo, Brooklyn or Raleigh/Durham, NC offices, as our first dedicated infrastructure hire and member of our cross-functional Platform team, supporting deployment of our core Ruby on Rails API/backend services and internal tools.

The tech keywords: AWS (ECS, RDS, MKS), Terraform, CircleCI, Docker/Docker Compose. We are exploring replacing ECS with Kubernetes.

Other notes: we pay meticulous attention to process, have robust internal training programs and professional development efforts, and strive for a culture of trust, debate, and transparency.
