A few things I just don't have the stomach for as an engineer, writing software that:
- impacts someones health
- impacts someones finances
- impacts someones freedoms
Call me weak, but I think about the "what ifs" a bit too much in those cases. What if my bug keeps them from selling their stock and they lose their savings? What if the wrong person is arrested, etc?

Why would anyone call you weak, that's principled and it's the correct attitude. It's the people who don't think about the consequences of the products they help build that are the problem.
