An implementation of any given application, its code, its infrastructure, and its services may be apolitical, but as a platform that is used for communication it is important that conversations be had about how these platforms are used. you can bury your head in the sand and pretend that society is not falling apart at the seams due in large part to the spread of misinformation across any number of internet forums and social media services, but I think the rest of us may have an opinion that is inimical to ignoring the problem.
